I want to become a psychologist and centre my life around children and education.
My sanity and the people I'm blessed with.
Painting, yoga and watching the sun set!
I could help them ease into a perfect balance between managing work, studies, friends, family and fun!
I could help them navigate resources to restore and rejuvenate that work with their lifestyle, for example journalling, yoga, trekking or even day-to-day mindfulness!
I'm always reminded of how beautiful this experience of being human is when I see kindness in the world. That's what inspires me, it's heart-warming.
Folklore and Evermore by Taylor Swift.
These two sister albums tell a lot of stories and it just makes one realise how even though we've such different lives on the outside, there's a lot that connects us, there's a lot that we share in common as humans.
"It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society."
-Jiddu Krishnamurti.
I'm put off by dishonesty.
Although I do realise that for people to be their true honest selves, there needs to be a space created that nurtures vulnerability so it shan't
be the dishonest person's responsiblity completely but generally speaking, lies are something I have a hard time accepting.
Reliable, tranquil and unwavering.
Lack of perspective.
Inaccessible opportunities, lack of exposure to the industry they're interested in.
Choosing the wrong career, a career that doesn't align with their purpose which leads to a lack of motivation. It makes students settle when in reality they could do much better.
I'd help better the education system, make it more accessible and affordable. I'd want the education system to be synchronised with the requirements of today's day and age.
I would also change the way we approach our work, I'd want the work environment to have more space for creativity, authenticity and vulnerability.
I'd want the world to be a place that encourages conscious living.
